02Two ways to swap
Either way the original motion carries through, so the clip still moves like the one you filmed.
Your face, their moves.
Upload a photo and SwapStudio places that face onto a person in your video. Your friend nailed the dance? With their OK, now it’s your face doing it.
New character, same moves.
Upload a reference image and SwapStudio replaces the whole person with that character, following the original motion. Your reaction clip becomes your mascot’s reaction clip. It takes longer to process than a face swap, and we email you when it’s done.
03Three tiers
The tiers differ in model quality and resolution. Higher tiers run more advanced AI models for more realistic results. Face swap works on all three.

04Responsible use
Swaps are for fun, not for fooling people. These rules cover every clip on every tier. They are part of the product, not the fine print.
Upload only videos you own or have the rights to use.
You need consent from every person whose face or likeness you use, in the photo and in the video. Your own face in your own video is the easy case.
No sexual or explicit content, ever. No minors: not in the video, not in the photo, not in the reference image.
No impersonation, harassment, fraud or political deception. Don’t use a swap to pose as someone else, target anyone, scam anyone or mislead people about politics.
Every clip SwapStudio makes is labeled as AI-generated, on every tier.
If a SwapStudio clip uses your face or likeness without your consent, email a takedown request to support@summitnet.io and we will honor it.
05FAQ
Minutes, not seconds. A face swap usually takes about 2 to 5 minutes, and a character swap can take longer. You don’t have to wait around: we email you when your clip is ready.
Trend clips are the sweet spot: dances, reactions, skits and “put yourself in the trend” posts. For a face swap you need the video and a photo of the face. For a character swap you need the video and a reference image of the character. You get the best results when the person you’re swapping is clearly visible and well lit. Either way, it has to be a video you own or have the rights to use.
Your own, and the face of anyone who has given you consent. You need consent from every person whose face or likeness you use, as well as the rights to the video itself. Never a minor. If you’re not sure you have permission, you don’t have it yet, so ask first. See Responsible use for the full rules.
Every clip SwapStudio makes is labeled as AI-generated when we deliver it. Keep the label on when you post it, so your viewers know too.
